LARGE FRAMES

We are happy to quote on all large frames.

We have a great deal of experience in manufacturing, delivering and installing frames of an awkward or large size. We have the facility in our workshop to create frames from timber if they exceed the 3 metre lengths that most picture frame moulding comes in, and have devised unique ways of creating stronger corner joints on large frames.

Some of our most succesful frames have been for temporary installations, either in theatres or for commercial presentation.

We have also framed large pieces for office foyers, cruise liners and galleries.

 

 

This particular frame has been chosen to suit a piece of artwok by Fernando Velazquez.  The brief was to find a wood which matched a newly laid walnut floor but also be sympathetic to the painting. We sourced some beautiful walnut for the frame and finished it jsut with a light polish and wax.

The customer was delighted.
