Welcome to Team PictureFrames
Several members of the PictureFrames crew have recently undertaken a series of physical challenges to raise money for charities. So far we've done these events as individuals but are now trying to make it a regular thing as a team. We'll put details of the events that we have done or are going to do on this page and very much hope that you may be able to support us with sponsorship or even cheering at the finish line!

Bounemouth Pier to Pier Swim:
Postponed from the 17th July 2011, Hope and Harry finally did the British Heart Foundation swim between Boscombe and Bournemouth Piers on the 4th September. The weather was good for swimmers as the sea was calm, but not so good for spectators with a persistent drizzle. The swim is 1.5 miles in the open sea – we were a bit nervous about this one as neither of us are brilliant swimmers, nor have done anything like this before: in the event, Harry felt the cold a bit after about an hour in the water and Hope with plenty of blubber to deal with the cold had the threat of leg cramps throughout – but we made it!!! Please give generously, and if you want to know what a bedraggled picture framer looks like, there’ll be a picture soon!
Isle of Wight Ride:
In June 2011, Hope and honorary Team PictureFrames member, Randall Wright completed the gruelling 100 kilometre off road ride on the Isle of Wight in aid of the British Heart Foundation. Sponsorship is still coming in - please click here if you would like to donate and many thanks to those who have. Hope wrote a short article on the trip about littering: read it here. Randall has written a very amusing account of his ride - read it here
Dorset Ride:
In May 2011, Harry, Karl and Hope cycled 66 miles around Dorset in aid of the British Heart Foundation. Apart from a bit of saddle soreness and five punctures between us it all went off great. Many thanks to everyone who sponsored us and to Caroline, lily and Roger for cheering us in.
